Rabbi Mendy Dechter

Ever since I was a child my dream was to be an emissary of The Lubavitcher Rebbe. His love for humanity and every individual worldwide inspired and led me on this wonderful journey to make a difference in the community. The foundation of Friendship Circle was based upon the premise that every individual is created in the image of G‑d. I have made it my lifelong mission to bring the community together to love, accept and integrate those with disabilities.

Marcy Lederman, MSW

Program Director

Friendship Circle has been a part of my life for many years now and I feel fortunate to return as Program Director of this flourishing organization. Focusing specifically on program growth and families of children with special needs, I am able to experience firsthand the incredible effect that Friendship Circle has on all of its participants. This inspires me and our whole staff to continue our mission towards ultimate inclusion!

Sari Mizrahi

Volunteer Coordinator

Sari Mizrahi grew up in Israel and moved to the US at the age of 16. She attended Shaarei Bina High School and since then has been heavily involved in the special needs community. Volunteering throughout college made her connect to a passion of a lifetime. In 2015 Sari graduated from Touro Manhattan College and shortly after got married and has 2 beautiful children. Making a difference in one child's life is like making a difference in a whole entire world. Sari will be functioning as the new Volunteer Coordinator. With Sari's experience and positive attitude, we are looking forward to expanding and grow Friendship Circle.
